More Than Just Jewellery

At the core of the Nadine Jewellery brand is the reoccurring inspiration that consists of nature, art, culture and spirituality.

Each with a sense of freedom for the wearer to express oneself liberally through jewellery, which represents his or her own personal story, collections such as Rouh and Sirr set the stage for freedom of expression with personalised engravings etched onto the face or interior of the designs. Each piece is a part of a bigger puzzle that only the owner of the item can truly understand. Whether it is a symbol of faith or an amulet keeping safe your fate, may these exquisite pieces be a place of safe keeping for your most cherished values.

Exploring the idea of what each piece may mean to its owner and how that plays a pivotal role in their great big story, we decided to immerse ourselves in the concepts of faith and fate. As it is these two meaningful words that add immeasurable value to the handcrafted gold pieces we create.

Do you believe in fate? That some things are just destined to happen and to turn out in a certain way? The definition of fate, according to Oxford Dictionary is: the development of events outside a person’s control, regarded as predetermined by a supernatural power. It also defines fate as a verb – to be destined to happen, turn out, or act in a particular way – faith, on the other hand, is defined by Oxford Dictionary as complete trust or confidence in someone or something; it’s also defined as strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof. It can simply mean a strongly held belief.

Though seemingly different, the two are quite similar; as the undertone and common thread of these two words is the spirituality behind believing in fate, and having faith that the best is always to come.

One of many brilliant quotes by Lebanese poet and philosopher, Gibran Khalil Gibran highlights the importance of having faith, and carrying on no matter what may come your way,

“March on. Do not tarry.

To go forward is to move toward perfection.

March on, and fear not the thorns, or the sharp stones on life’s path.”

It’s important to always keep faith – be it in your religion, or in a person, idea or thing that means a great deal to you. With a positive outlook, no matter your fate, all things that come to you with ease, glory and joy.
